I went to Berlin to watch it in July 1990 - they had to rebuild the wall (in Polystyrene, admittedly) to "tear down the wall" - It was an incredibly moving (and very alcoholic) experience.
In my mind, no CD or vinyl comes close to the raw emotion of that night!
