Gas CH and log-burner, so no opportunity of using it in heating oil. Just got back from the tip where they were happy to accept it – as long as I donated it in the can!

Did the same with a couple of gallons of very old 4-star in an 8-gallon jerry can. That hurt as I had to donate a “W↑D 1952” ex-RAF heirloom. Still, I have another (empty) to partner my tool box inscribed “AMMUNITION - .303 Ball”.
BTW, we continue to live and learn. I had never heard of the Diesel bug, but now I know.
