Yup, when that happened I thought they had elected a new Pope! Its right though isn't it, when you have had a car for a number of year/experiences its hard to say goodbye sometimes.

New car starts first flick of the switch - not always it doesn't... Never had rev hanging fault on the old carb X-flow either (except when the choke stuck once). And the gearbox was so sweet compared to the horribly slow notchy 5 speed Ford MT85. Other than that, I much prefer the '93
Pyro - there's a thought...
Minifreak - disconnect the electrical supply that runs from the starter solenoid, under the dash to the fuse box. Fit a 30A fuse / breaker in the line at the starter end - there is NO protection for many electrical circuits (unless the car has been rewired to a newer standard) for a number of electrical circuits.
If it has spot lights fitted with an original metal cased relay, change the relay for a newer one, rewiring if necessary (Morgan did not do the added lights well from the electrickery point of view).
