Agree with your summary Michael H. My replacement rear sprocket was supplied free of charge, although I fitted it myself. For some reason it had to be supplied from Morgan via the dealer I purchased the car from, so not sure who actually paid for it, either way it wasn't me. The sprocket was worn out at 3500 miles. As the replacement is exactly the same as the original I expect the replacement to last about the same, less than the life of the rear tyre. Currently trying (and failing) to get an answer from Morgan about availability of a more durable sprocket as this is not fit for purpose and is only designed to get me past the end of my warranty as far as I can see.
