Watched 'Piccadilly Jim' last night (2004), an adaptation of the PG Wodehouse novel.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371878/Thought the drawing of the car in the opening credits looked very much like an Aero 8, and indeed the film opens with it parked in a tree following a riotous party.
It turns up a couple of times in the film, which was savaged for including a lot of anachronisms (meant to be set in 1930's). I'd agree, so much grated that it was hard to follow the plot itself.
