I dont expect any improvement in braking , back in the day when drums were common in competition they would disipate heat better and this kept the drums from distorting , also the weight saving is considerable.
These are original Datsun parts from a 240Z and have a good reputation so i don't expect any trouble but there have been several copies over the years which don't fair too well .
For me its just cosmetic and a bit of fun fooling with the car
