Great idea I use a 90 litre canoeing dry-bag which is totally waterproof (and will even withstand brief immersion) so you don't need any liners.

I got it from Overboard , but there are others available.

It takes more than enough on our +8's luggage rack , to supplement the Hills Alive cases inside the car.
