I've had my Roadster since August and am seeing 30-ish mpg depending on conditions. Beware of Roadsters after March 06 up to when the CO level was reduced by the factory as these are high band (£400) Road Tax already. Early roadsters are lower due to date of registration.Phil Ledgerwood in North Lincs (usual disclaimer) has a good selection of +4 and 4/4 but only one new black Roadster at present. I bought mine privately from Shrewsbury (travelling from Yorkshire) even though I really wanted a dealer deal for the reasons already mentioned. But in the end it was a good deal with full history - which went smoothly. Good luck with your search. Last time I looked on the Mog website there were only 3 new Roadsters and 3 used. I'm sure that more will come up in the spring. You really should try 4/4, +4, Roadster (and don't ignore the +8) before you decide, although I didn't.... innocent. The Roadster is a Jekyll & Hyde. Very docile 'around town' but an animal when unleashed. I'm very happy with it, having moved from a V8 MGB which I had for 22 years. laugh2
