All of the replies have been very helpful and much appreciated. I am aware that not all Golden Yellows are created equal.
I am quite happy with the version on my car and I have come to the conclusion, as has been suggested, to rely on modern technology to replicate it rather than find myself adrift in a sea of paint codes.
