I think the rear tire is just about right. It took me almost 2,000 miles to really get a handle on finessing the car so it wouldn't break loose or scratch except on my command. The real problem is weight. With only one person the rear is too light. With two it is just about perfect and does not spin out nearly as much. Did some experimenting with and without passenger as well as using sandbags.

Basic handling improved with the added weight as well.

I, personally, don't want a sticky tire back there. As I noted this car will drift sweetly as is in a very controlled manner. Losing that would sadden me...


What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
