BTW, doesn't the ACU require that oil drain plugs are lockwired? They always used to when I was hill climbing?
The latest ACU handbook can be viewed online, but from memory, the answer to your point is "yes". Also if an oil breather is fitted, it has to vent into a catch tank. (That is for track racing - the details vary slightly depending on which branch of the sport is pursued)
