I have just replaced the same ash body parts and i made a trough out of some rough timber and 1000 gauge polythene sheet to soak the parts in. Its amazing how mush cuprinol they soaked up. After leaving them to dry thoroughly i coated them with a clear marine yacht varnish. The cuprinol that i got was a clear odourless one.

Addicted to Morgans. 44 years and still not cured.
