As a poor apprentice in the 1970's my Mobylette would not keep up with the FS1e's and SS50's of the day so things had to be done.

1. Fuel was a mix of 4 star and toluene with a dash of castor oil for that bit of extra lubrication.
2 A small electric motor with a model boat propeller was mounted into the carb. inlet and wired up to the headlight.
3. Engine ported and balanced.
4. Handle bars replaced with clip ons.

At the traffic lights slide back onto the luggage rack turn the headlight on and give it death.

It didn't last long but it wasn't half a giggle.
