That has to be an error surely? I saw that and thought that no naturally aspirated 2.3 engine would make that sort of power, especially in a mainstream production car. The 2.3lte Duratec in Caterhams CSR only produces 200bhp or 260bhp with Cosworth cams, TBs and re-mapping.
I believe Omex have fully developed their 2.5ltr Duratecs now, this sounds as if it would be a great engine in a Mog? Even better with a supercharger hung onto it?
I'm sure it is wrong.. no road going 2.3L naturally aspirated production engine is going to produce that much power.
The Ford Ecoboost 2.3L develops 310 bhp in the new Ford Mustang and will be 320 bhp in next years Focus RS.
