Thanks Steve. All the tyres were at the correct pressure when I checked them just before taking the photos last night (30psi Front, 25 psi Rear). I should have said in my post.
The pressures are what I've found work well on the road, hillclimbs and even a trackday at Oulton Park, but they were worked far harder at Cadwell Park than ever before as it felt as if I was sliding around most corners - the sensation was absolutely fantastic!
I didn't have any tyre concerns in the practice session, as partially captured on nippymogs video, but during the race the ante went up a serious few notches. I couldn't believe how competitive these 3 wheeler racers are. I have an awful lot to learn.....
I've Googled Surfoam, and I think I have one lurking in a drawer in the garage. Thanks Dab, will give it a go
