Graham, our friend in South Africa had them too for his very earlly 2012 as there was a problem at the time of them snapping or something.

An important one really. I think the one that highlighted it snapped in a race. My mate Chris was bothered as he always drives like a loon. Over the Franschhoek Pass which has lots of hairpins and thousands of feet drop. I think yours may be the updated ones as its a 2013modeld & Chris's is one of the first ones off the line in 2012.
