I have a K&N on an S1 but didn't run it with a standard filter so can't compare. My Roadster is always marginal at MOT time in maintaining Lambda - it runs right on the edge of weak, and although the ecu should compensate for increased airflow, I'm going to do the next MOT with a standard filter, just out of interest.
All the other emission measures are spot on by the way.
