Just to let you know, I bought the Librands door strap replacements in stainless, they give one fixed position where the door is held at about 90% so it is quite handy. The set screws into the roll bar went in OK, the strap though had been fitted poorly and there were signs that the near door had been a problem, the set screws were bent, these are very long on my car and I had to make a new hole for the lower screw on the door itself, there is plenty of scope to alter screw holes as the door frame is wood behind the check strap.

Second job was to fit the stainless lock covers from Heart of England, this meant on my car removing the entire door trim (14 screws) and the newly fitted check device, so items fell out but not part of the lock, must say Morgan trim shop in '99 was a bit slap dash with the trim inside the door.
On my car the bolts to fix the door are entirely behind this panel and the back two had to be altered I also had to 'ease' the door panel as the stainless item is a bit wider than the black plastic one fitted at the factory.

The instructions warn that sometimes the roll bar alignment of screws can be way out and oblige a drill and tap but fortunately this was not needed.

All parts needed for two options in the kit with sound instractions.

Spent about 90 mins on the job all told.
