Just after replacing the shock absorber brackets, a knacking noise was discovered when polishing the front wings.
The bracket between the front suspension and the light on top of the wing, had sheared at the suspension. It is a fatigue break as the two pieces matched perfectly, and there were no signs of deformation.
Luckily my friend lives on a very small farm with access to a welding apparatus. It took us one hour of grinding, welding, grinding and filing to put it back in one piece.
I wonder when the other side wil break? The car's done 50'miles by now.
