It does indeed go over the engine. I have spoken to both dealers mentioned here who have suggested the Morgan has the incorrect clutch cable, not say to this isn’t true but it has been in the family since new and I can’t remember the cable being changed.
Well the frustrated updated is the cable went off to speedy cables 2 weeks ago and after a few delays which were outside their control , it came back yesterday with the fittings on the wrong ends. I am currently in the process of writing a running report for a media company about Morgan ownership which I am guess is going to be cancelled now due to the time it’s been off the road.
Pretty cheesed off that such a simple part can cause such disruption.
