Depends a lot on the wrapping material. I got a roll of wrap from somewhere from the www and it did not last for more than 2 month (1500km). There must be lots of differnt qualities on the market and you hardly know which is ok and which is crap.

When wrapping for a decent milage and later removing the cover it will have produced an uniform black piping there...
