First, let me thank you all for the very warm welcome from all of you who have replied to my first post. You all seem to be a great bunch of people, who share the same interest in Morgan cars and no doubt other classic cars of a bygone era.

Now to refer to your post Taffmog. First, my apologies, I have just had another look at my 1/16th scale Morgan in Ivory and it is not a plus 8, but a 4-4 Sports
It is a Kyosho model made in Japan and I bought it quite a few years ago for less than half the price of this one on sale from a German dealer on Ebay (see link below). Maybe they are getting harder to find. Not too keen on the Black paintwork, but it looks superb in Ivory.

Regarding the Three Wheeler Models by Minicraft, they are hard to come by and can be very expensive. The last one I came across was a few years ago, priced at $385 US, plus shipping charge of $55 US. A little bit too expensive for what I am prepared to pay for a model, hence the idea of trying to make one from scratch. I will no doubt keep looking, in case one does turn up at a reasonable price.
I will have a look for the book you mentioned, to add to my collection of Morgan books I already have. There are a few more books I would still like, to add to my collection
