I am with Tim here , the original wiring loom used by MMC was OK in its day , but woefully inadequate by today's standards.
You should have a fuse for each major circuit, and a relay for the higher powered ones. Also if you are going to use an electric fan , or fuel pump then these also need fusing correctly.
