Never mind about blowing leaves in the garden. A leaf blower is the ONLY sensible way to dry a car after washing. Chamois leathers and other materials can scratch paint and do not dry out crevices and brake calipers etc. 1) plastic sheet over engine to stop water getting through the louvres and soaking electrics 2) hose off dirt. 3) wax-free shampoo 4) rinse off with sprinkler on hose 5) dry everything with leaf blower 6) take for a good long drive to get everything really dry (after remembering to remove the plastic sheet in the engine).
