As far as I can see MMC are indeed using the CO2 figures taken from the parent car. The 4.8l N63 engine has a rating of 282g/km when in 360bhp form in the 6-series E63, and that's what MMC quote.

If MMC were to go to all the trouble of producing their own emissions figures, it would come down by a bit I'm sure but there would be no real benefit for MMC and a lot of cost I presume.
