Hello
I have just acquired and driven down 850km through France a 1974 4/4 four seater. It's a cracking car with of course the 1600GT crossflow engine and the very slick 4 speed gearbox.
IMHO it does though cry out for a higher final ratio even for it's mainly non-motorway use, but I don't want to go five speed gearbox preferring to raise the ratio of the back axle (currently 4.1:1)
Does anyone have a good set of pinion wheels with a ratio of 3.7:1 that would suit the Salisbury 3HA axle lurking in their garage?
Cheers
