Many years ago, the local Healey club met once in a while for Sunday lunch near where we live. If I got wind of it I would pop down in the MG for a nosy. This would have been late seventies, so no old car hysteria as we see now. They used to get maybe a dozen Healeys of all specs, most owned by old blokes. It was all tweed caps and string backed gloves.
None were mint, they were all in use, and they were fantastic.
I can add a Healey to the list of cars I would have liked to own but never have. It's almost worth a separate post:......
Healey 3000
Porsche 911 pre 1985
TVR Griffith
TR6
Trident Ventura/Clipper
And so on.............
