Fitted today and all very straightforward. It's the same width and about 20mm shorter so drops straight into the battery tray. At 2kg it feels ridiculously light compared to the lead one.
Fired up really easily but the real test will be the next cold start.
Then the "joy" of the M3W hit!
Taking it back to my garage I got to the end of our close and it cut out. Suspected low voltage as I hadn't charged it - It was turning over fine but voltage was a bit low. Clipped on the boost pack and it still turned over fine but I realised there was no noise from the fuel pump.
Suspecting fuel pump failure I did a quick search on here and one tip was to check the inertia switch. Checked and this had popped so reset and it fired up straight away.
