Thanks, Ian. Yes, that was my concern, which was why I wondered if anyone had tried it. My thought was to use the boot and behind the seats for heavy luggage, and a bootbag for light stuff - coats etc.
I don't need much apart from a change of clothes, toothbrush and walking boots -
seems to require about ten times as much.
