I bought a new M3W (2014) and discovered this site, what a life saver. I brought the car home last December, and it is just getting warm enough to drive it. I topped up the fuel tank this morning and the motor killed just as I rolled out of the gas station. But I knew what to do thanks to you folks! I have already downloaded Calum's instructions for replacing the rear sprocket should that become necessary. Can't wait for more warmer weather to do some long trips out West and up North! I've got my tools/jack/compressor/spare tubes/plug kit/jumper cables secured under the bonnet and am ready to go. I made a small luggage rack that suspends from the roll hoops with quick release for boot access, to carry more gear.
warm regards to all
