Just noticed today after 320 miles on new engine, a little wetness on front chassis cross tube. Then found the source was the bottom vent/drain on timing belt cover, with corresponding slight oil patch on garage floor.
Clearly not too bad at the moment and assuming its the front crank oil seal weeping. Will it get worse or am I getting overly optimistic it will seal better later? - experience suggests not
