Is it a good idea to publish your bank details on a public forum?
I was going to ask the same question!
I can't see it's any issue People and companies publish their bank details all the time Companies on invoices and people in magazines in the small ads sections You need much more that account names, sort code and account number to withdraw money
Anybody has enough information to set up a direct debit on the account. They have the Account number, Sort code, and account holder's name, address and email. Have a look at this site for example:
Follow the process through for making a regular donation to the Muslim Hands organisation and you'll see that all the information necessary has been published here. Fair enough you'd get your cash back OK but I think it's possible to get quite a nasty surprise like this. Just sayin'.
