Never had any issues with the tyre monitor in my ownership - it would occasionally 'ignore' all the wheels early in a journey, but usually after a few miles they would all register. I just put this down the the 'normal' issues with a wireless setup. The sensors are easily damaged during tyre replacement, so i suspect this is what has happened here. (Same thing happened to me on my S1).
Sorry to hear of the issue with the indicators - seems a very odd one so glad they managed to sort under warranty
