Hello,
My friend is able to do both. Total restoration or cosmetics.
The restoration of the Pagode took him 5 years. The car is now better than new.
The 4/4 Morgan was a RHD . He transformed it to a LHD. On this project he invested +/- 6 months. The major part of the work was the steering transformation. He added several cosmetic jobs.
The former owner of the Healey began a restoration 10 years ago but he couldn't finish the job for reasons of health.
My friend now finishes the job, and makes some corrections on the work of the former owner.
He told me that he wants to find a car where he can do a restoration within 1 year. He does not want to spend as much time as he spent on the Pagode project because he also wants to drive the cars more often instead of screwing on them permanently.
I think if you know a car the best thing would be to send me some pictures and the idea of the price for the car.
Then I will forward this to my friend.
Many greetings from rainy Luxemburg,
Franz
