My understanding is that if the wheels (with sensors attached) are not removed too far away from the car then no problems occur. It is when the sensors lose contact with the car that the whole system needs re-setting.

Intersting that SGT had the wheels refurbished with no problems. It must either have been done next to the car, or the sensors were removed kept inthe car and replaced correctly or SGT did a correct reset.

I can't see the wheels being swopped over causing any issues except indicating an error in the wrong wheel. Ie they would still work but you would be confused if it indicated front offside has an issue when it would be front nearside.
