A good choice in colour Justin! Mine is also Sports Grey.

I too was mystified by the colour of the exhaust.

I would say that a polish with a Dremel and some autosol would bring it back to Silver. If that is if you want it.
Also a sleeve of an old sweat shirt wrapped round twice with autosol and some muscle power and patience will do the job.

I give the headers this treatment every now and again and with patience it works although soon returns to a straw colour. The Exhaust is a much lower temperature so should retain its brightness.
