Short Video of my M3W knocking Can I get some opinions here? This sounds like my compensator failing again, but I had a CENTA installed 1000 miles ago (at much expense). If it was coming from the motor I would say it sounds like a rod knocking, but the sound is emanating from the transmission area. I can make it happen by slightly disengaging the clutch at low RPM. Example - I especially notice it as I pull into the garage or into a parking place. As you can tell from the video the sound is more pronounced inside the cabin. I can feel it in the floorpan. I've been assured that the CENTA was a fix to the compensator problem...
Oil levels are fine, and it was serviced when the CENTA unit was installed (along with the frame modification) 1000 miles ago.
I've emailed this to my dealer. I'm sure he will get back to me soon, but I thought I would post it here and get a few opinions from owners. Thanks in advance.
