Don't disagree with that.....and questioning the cabinet members might shed even more light on what they (as a cabinet) knew and what they didn't know and exactly what they were consulted on and voted on.

Even so, there is no getting away from the fact that the evidence that supported military action as the only option left was not challenged robustly enough by either the politicians or the MOD. One can only hope that regardless of what goes on now that lessons have been learned for the future.
