I bought mine from Summit Racing in the USA. They came to $157.00 each with free shipping. These tires were manufactured in 2013 in the first quarter. They were wrapped with shrink wrap which was still intact and tight. The rubber is glossy black. Tread pattern is sharp, deep and a dead ringer for the Blockley design. These seem far more substantial than the Blockleys. When mounted they required very little weights to balance. Running at 70mph they are very true and hardly seem like they are going that fast. The Avons were all over the place. The Blockleys not much better. I am encouraged by reports of higher mileage expectations for these. I am still rounding these tires out on the road as they settle in but I am impressed!
For the stock Morgan wire wheels a rim stripe is not required. The bead of the tire covers the wire spoke ends and they are all beautifully finished. This wheel just might qualify for being tubeless. If so, the tires would last longer as well.
I also replaced the rear tire as it qualified as a racing slick. A generic symmetrical Goodyear went in there. It's nice not sliding all over the damn road now.
I probably need to get into group therapy or something... I go through tires like... buttah
BTW, the Coker Excelsior line is made in Taiwan. The Blockley tubes are British and superior to the Coker line. I reused the tubes but kept the Coker tubes as backups.
