The original rad failed on my 2008 4/4 with sudden loss of coolant out of the top hose plastic union. Noticed when the temperature suddenly began to rise to about 105degC.
Mulfab alloy rad since fitted has been good ever since and worth the cost, especially if you are planning to tour.
Disappointing that MCC seem to be cutting quality corners and reinforces the notion that its better to purchase a well sorted second hand motor.
