The Aero seats in my 2014 Plus 8 have a limited range of adjustment for the seat back angle as well as for and aft, but of course nothing else. And the BMW steering column is adjustable for both angle and distance....but not by much. But they are VERY comfortable, far more so than those on the 2009 Roadster. But I suspect that to get comfortable the driver needs to be between 5' 7" and 5'10", reasonably slim hipped and not build like a prop forward.....
I need to get the seat position "just so" to prevent right hip bursitis and I'd like the front anti submarine roll a bit smaller and the seat base a bit firmer.
I agree that the seats are not the best, but I'm sure are made to a price.
After 29000 miles and many, many drivers the driver's seat right side bolster is showing wear and the seat base is a bit soft.
I feel that re-upholstery cannot be so far away.
