I have just fitted a Librands manifold to my 4.0 +8. When I bought it, it had had the cats removed, and sports pipes. It is now QUIETER that with the iron manifolds!!! It has also lost that lovely hum on the over run when lifting off the throttle. It don't feel that much (if at all) quicker either.
Are there any other +8 owners that have swapped manifolds? What did you notice when you changed them?
I have also ordered a Tornado ECU, but cannot fit yet as waiting for some slimline knock sensors. Looking forward to feeling if this makes and improvement.
