Yes the lcd on my 4/4 failed last year and I sent it away to the manufacturers Caerbont in south wales Cost me a tad over £50 and it worked for a very short time only before going completely blank. I intend getting back to them and seeking a replacement. There has to be a design weakness here for it to fail twice and other posts on this forum have similar reports.
