I did a 2000 mile tour of Scotland on mainly B roads in May 2015 including part of Skye. The roads were very good. In some remote parts they are single lane with passing places, but the surfaces are generally good so no worries for a Mog. Much of Skye has two lane roads.
I used the free road bridge from Kyle of Lochalsch but also used the small Coaran Ferry (Fort William) and there was no problem on driving on or off with my Mog. I thoroughly recommend the trip. Enjoy.
