The motor accessory shop I use has rolls of two way sponge sticking tape they vary in width and length . You can stick it to the bulk head or the heater box ( and it sticks like like hell ) It has a green plastic film on one side if you want a none sticking side or you can remove the green tape from some and put it on the sticky side + it cuts easy with a small pair if scissors . If not you can pull it off and both sides stick . The roll has plenty on for around a fiver . You can also but it together if you need extra wide or thickness . I am going past the place this evening do you want me to pop in and get the name etc off the stuff and you can send away for some . I often use it for sticking plaques on the skimmed garage walls.
