The rotary fan switch on my 2012 4/4 Sport failed. It in fact separated and simply needs putting back together. The trouble is the gubbins fell out and I have no idea where all the bits go.
I fear I need a new switch but it's soldered to the module. It would be easier if there was a connector to assist replacement.
'Time to ring the factory I thought. I was put through to Dave on the shop floor who builds the dashboards up and knew exactly where I was at and what options I have to fix it.
Basically new switch or mix and match if I'm feeling lucky.
You won't get this sort of service with BMW!

My pal said a switch in a BMW wouldn't break!
My BMW heater switch didnot break...The whole heater went up in smoke.
