Nothing wrong with old mopeds, I've recently had a 1968 velosolex ( 200mpg ,0.4 bhp , tax free.) Yes you need insurance and a rear number plate.
But very cheap.
As is its replacement mobylette, 1968 ,2bhp,tax free cheap insurance.
These leccy bikes are plain expensive no matter how you look at them
