I told Mrs SBM that my Beemer had that gimmick...everytime she waggled her foot under the bumper, "someone" pressed the button on the key fob in their pocket..
I had to tell her at the supermarket as I was bursting with laughter..
Getting back on task for a moment, I'm going through the same process in my head about my bikes. Simple is good, but to lose the push button and go part..? Hmmm..
I think it was only my Ducati that had that luxury..no I tell a lie. My Commando was electric start but then never usable when cold. I must admit the swinging away to get some of my old Velos going in full kit and helmet wasn't great fun, especially the KSS which could bite, the thought of being able to press a button an go can be a good one. So far apart from the occasion of forgetting to put the kill switch in the right place

my RE has been an easy kick starter.
