1882? Very early one then!
It should be straight forward, in common with the crossflow 5sp conversion, you will need a 5sp propshaft as the Type 9 box is slightly longer. I understand at least one Morgan spare specialist stocks them or a propshaft specialist can convert your existing one if you can find a Type 9 front.
With the gearbox being slightly longer you will have to move the inverted U bracket back. Its simple and straightforward, just a matter of redrilling some bolt holes.
Clutch operating mechanism, I've no idea on!
