I recently purchased a NoDiz computer from the UK. Nothing worked. With the help of the NoDiz Technician I found the coil pack was faulty. GOOGLED "How to check a Zetec Coil Pack". I bought a device that looked like a spark plug (but was not). But it was designed to check the coil pack and the ignition wires. By attaching this "Giz Wiz" onto the coil pack I could see if it sparks or not. Then I connected the "GizWiz" to the spark plug end of the ignition wire and checked that. Turns out one of the Ignition wires was faulty. The "Giz Wiz" was not expensive.

As I travel, in My Morgans, to remote areas I carry spares so I can fix it if it fails. So I carry a spare NoDiz, Coil Pack, RPM sensor and Ignition Wires, also the "Giz Wiz". I have found local Mechanics no nothing about "points" nor Electronic Ignition. They can fix a Ford Tractor however.
